Hi, I'm Soul!

I own a sweet little 3-year-old cockatiel named Sylvester.
Whenever I tell someone his name, they ask me why I called him that. Either that, or they mention Sylvester Stallone. x'D
He was named "Sylvester" by the breeder because his older brother was named "Tweety." At first, I'd meant to rename him, but the name quickly grew on me and now I can't imagine calling him anything else!

Sylvester likes to ring his bells and compete with the microwave. Not too long ago, I found out that my curious little 'tiel will play under a running faucet!

I joined because I've recently been having trouble with Sylvester. I thought I should ask other bird owners for their expertise. ;-;

Welcome to the forums! Nice to know Sylvester enjoys water, as many birds are difficult to bathe!

Please use caution with bells, as some birds will detach the "ringer" and swallow bits. Depending on the source, the soft metal often contains lead and slowly causes horrendous health issues.

Feel free to discuss your problems with Sylvester! You'll find many members with great cockatiel experiences, eager to share!

Welcome to the forum! So glad you could join! : )

Sylvester is a good name for a 'tiel. Sounds like he's a lot of fun to have around. Feel free to ask any questions you may have, we all love birds and are happy to help.
