Hello! I figured I would go ahead and join this forum to familiarize myself with the feathery community and (hopefully) find some good advice. I have been raised around birds all my life but only just recently have I started saving to purchase a companion of my own.
I have a lot of questions and I really hope this is the right place to get those questions answered! :grey:

"Hello!" says my Patagonian, Lucky. Since that's pretty much the only word she knows.

I am also new, and I've found this forum valuable for the range of experience, opinion and ideas it furnishes. The older threads have stayed as relevant as the new ones.

I'm gonna risk being a broken record, but my partner and I have had great experiences obtaining birds at rescues. There's lots of homeless birdies out there hoping to find a caring home like yours.
