I have 2 green cheek conures, a 2 year old male named Bailey, and a 4-5 year old (surprise) female pineapple named Loki (turns out that the god of mischief also turned into a female and got pregnant, in Norse mythology, how fitting).

Oh boy, if Loki has chicks I hope one has 8 legs and another 1 has fur and fangs

(I love norse mythology, it's so absurd. How does someone give birth to an 8 legged horse , 1 wolf, a snake, and then a very pretty girl... if you look above the waist)

Well, as it turns out, Bailey is a female as well. Double surprise wammy!! Even though we had her DNA tested as a male.
I imagine her saying to Loki "ya think they were surprised that you are a female? Watch this! Ima f 'em right up!"
