Hi :)
I have been reading a lot on the forum lately, its great by the way, and very helpful. I figured it was time to register, as you guys seem like a nice and friendly bunch ;-)

I live in Norway, and I have a young eclectus boy. I have had him since he was 6 weeks old, and things have gone really well! He is just the best ever. I am totally in love with my little guy.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello, and I will post some pictures of him from today, if I can figure out how..:)

Thank you :)

They don't seem popular in Europe. We have an active sub-forum, feel free to post any questions. Their dietary needs are different from most other parrots!

Yes, I havent seen them here, other than at my breeder. But I think there are two other breeders aswell, in my country.
I dont understand why they arent more common, they sure are pretty. And my little guy is just the best ever [emoji172]
Do you have Eclectus as well?

I am still hand feeding my boy, but he gets lots of fresh vegetables, fruit and sprouts every day aswell. He seems to like to try everything, and spends a lot of time chewing it all to tiny pieces. I know he eats some of it, because I see his poo gets different, but I dont think he eats enough by him self, so he still gets his handfeedings, only not as much.

Welcome!
Glad you joined us.

Thanks :) I have secretly been reading some of your scrapbook posts ( not all, because there is a lot [emoji39]) but I love it, and you inspired me to also keep a diary for my bird.

Its nothing like yours ( yours is amazing), but i write down his weight every morning, new foods he tries, his first time doing things ( showers/flying etc). Just things worth mentioning, I write down.
