Black headed caique

Hello everyone. I have a black headed caique. She is 8 months old. Over the last month she has developed a pink fleshy soft lump under her beak (on her chin). it doesn't seem to be bothering her but it is getting bigger. The vet I went to has no idea what it is. Any ideas anyone or anything similar?

Welcome to the forums, Mark! Can you post a picture? None of us can diagnose, but may have some clues or have seen similar.

Have you taken your caique to a certified avian vet? If not, please consider doing so. Many will see "exotics" without the necessary education or experience. While well meaning, they may overlook critical aspects and adopt a scattered approach to treatment.
