3 budgies, 2 green cheeked conures
My name is Kim. I am a wife, mum (mom) and animal fanatic from Australia, raising an almost 13 year old son who loves animals, but is especially fond of parrots. We have had budgies for a few years (the first, Nibbles, I rescued when I was out walking our dog, and saw him being attacked by about 8 noisy miners, poor little guy! He must have escaped from an aviary, as there are no wild ones in our area). The other 2, also males, belong to my son, and are named B-Craft and Troppy. A few days ago we bought home 2 hand reared Green Cheeked Conures. They are an absolute delight! We are calling them boys for now, until they can be DNA tested. Their names are Loki and Timmy. Timmy is very placid, but Loki is a hyperactive biting machine lol. That’s what I get for naming him after the Marvel villian and god of mischief! I am hoping to learn much from the wealth of experience represented here. Thanks for including me😊

Welcome to the forums from another Aussie!

There's a whole forum about conures and plenty of people with them for questions.

We're all photo starved here so no doubt there will be demands made for pictures of your feather kids!

Edit: Chris-md already beat me to the punch! lol
