G'day from Australia

Sponsored Links
Hello all,
I'm originally from Ireland but moved to QLD Australia in 2003.
I have 3 pet parrots (Sun and GC Conure and galah) and adore birds.

I'm the president (and bird coordinator) of a wildlife rescue group, I'm an artist (painter) and musician..

So hello all hopefully this forum can be a great resource of info, and you never know perhaps I can even contribute

Example of my art:

Re: G'day from Australia

Greetings, salutations, and welcome, from one artist (and of course, parrot lover) to another. Our styles are similar, I think. I look forward to seeing more! I like your way with feathers and hair...

Re: G'day from Australia

Hello from wayyyyyyy over here in central USA! I studied abroad in Queensland 9 years ago and it was the best time of my life. The great barrier reef is such a wonder to witness and experience.

Welcome to you and your lovely flock!

Re: G'day from Australia

Welcome, thanks so much for joining! You've already contributed with a wonderful introduction of you, your birds, and artwork. The parrot portrait is incredibly nuanced, almost has a 3D appearance!!

Re: G'day from Australia

Hi Caroline
Kudos for your work at the wildlife rescue group.
Beautiful birds - seems you're superbly bonded, beautiful artwork - you have fantastically captured Conure's curiosity imho. As my heart is with Suns, would you mind sharing some painting of these if you have one?
I'd really like to visit QLD some time, to see the beautiful Great Barrier Reef. I was surprised to find a Toos have their own Reef over there
