Hey guys! I’m new to the forum, it’s been about 10 years since I had my last birds (Linnie’s) and just added a 5 year old white eyed conure to my gang of mostly rescue cats, dogs and horses in the middle of nowhere of northern Canada. There aren’t many bird folk here and I have a feeling I am going to need some moral support with my new little buddy as he has had almost as many homes as he has had years on this earth. I hope I can give him the best life he deserves, and let him feel safe and secure with no shortage of love, care and shenanigans with our little forever family :gcc:

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Welcome to you and your menagerie! Hope your conure has found his Forever Home!

One important consideration is attempting to locate the closest avian veterinary clinic, just in case. You may not have many options, but at least you'll have ideas in the event of sudden illness or desire for a baseline check up.
