Hello and welcome! I am sorry your baby appears to be sick! What part of the world is home, so members can try to help you find an avian vet?

Good Morning and welcome to The Parrot Forum. Most often our birds as part of their defense system refuse to show any signs of illness, vulnerability, So therefore, when you and I catch on that our babies are ill, they are usually past ill. My suggestion to you is a Avian Pet Visit as soon as possible, because this has probably been going on for a while, and we are talking relatively small body frame. Flboy asked the best question, in where about in the world are you located, so someone can recommend an Avian Vet to follow up with....

Good morning, and welcome to the Parrot Forums family!

I agree wholeheartedly with both of the above posts. Once a bird gets to the point that he is visibly showing signs of sickness, there's a good chance that what he is feeling is getting serious. Remember, parrots are prey animals, and instinctively hide any weaknesses to avoid drawing the attention of any predators. So you should definitely try to get him to an avian vet if at all possible.

If you don't know of one near you, as David and Casper mentioned we can perhaps help.

In my opinion, any of the vets listed here should be better than a regular vet.
International contacts, too.

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Welcome to the forums, Umaima. We deeply hope your bird regains health, best way is with a visit to qualified vet.

None of us are vets or otherwise medically qualified, but if you wish to share some history and symptoms, might be able to offer some guidance.
