I'm John and would like to introduce myself to you all.

I am a Silver Surfer (72) and have kept Budgies and/or Cockatiels for several years.

I love all living things but I sometimes have a problem with some members of the human race but never with any other living things.

I am sure I will love this Forum and hope to be posting regularly.

Hi Munami,

Thank you for your welcome but I am sure it will be you teaching me as you are a Senior Member.

Although I have kept either Cockatiels, Budgies, or both for many years we are all constantly learning.

Welcome welcome!!

You're in good company here, lots of us feel the same way about Humans vs non-humans. My own feeling about which creatures are the most wonderful and worthy creatures on this planet looks something like:
1. Parrots
2. Other birds
3. Dogs
4. Horses
Other creatures and humans come after this... humans tend to move up and down the list for me, never getting into the top 4, with the exception of my husband, parents, and the Parrot Forums family. :)

A very warm welcome to you John. Thank you for your humble introduction and for honestly expressing the majority opinion regarding a certain race of beings . A curious race they are nonetheless so: How many Budgies at home? How many Cockatiels at home? What are their names? Where are the photos please?:D
