I'm Veronica, I own a Caique named Versace and a Moluccan Cockatoo named Peaches! I joined this forum because I've always had birds growing up but they were my mothers and with her passing recently, I now take care of them full time and I've got questions on how to take better care of them and make their lives more enriching.

I'm happy to hear that you stepped in to take charge over Mom's fid's. I can bet that they are confused and grieving also from the loss of their caregiver.

oh yes please pics! it makes it personal once we see the bird! We all kinda bond with it.....

Honestly I KNOW know I could pick my two conures out of a room full of conures....all looking similar....

Over time my "friends list" birds...not all, but I think I could pick some of them out too.
