Brand new to parrots. My girlfriend brought home a parrotlet and I'm in love.

Welcome! There are 2 long posts of mine that I hope you will read on the following thread (about halfway down the page)-- they are long, but they explain the dangers of household items like teflon, room freshener, candles etc (things many new bird owners do not know).
