Sorry guys I just sign in one day and started posting away. Some of you might be thinking who's this bird freak chicken scratch his way through posts...lol
Anyway, I've been fascinated with birds since I was very young. Owned my first bird when I was 18 and had birds ever since. Im 32 now, don't have as many as I once did when I was breeding them. I make my schedule around them, couldn't go no where or do anything. So I give up breeding when I brokeup with my ex when I didn't have a place to live except back home. I was allowed one bird to bring home. When I moved out on my own again got myself a house and settled in and got myself into larger birds which I've always dreamed of having. I rescue animals from people's homes, off the streets, and pet shops. I've got 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 fish tank(soon only one so I have time for baby tiels) and 8 birds. Good thing im not alone in caring for these babies. My partner loves them as much as I do. Don't think im of those hoarders you see on animal planet. All my pets are well taken care of. My house is NOT filthy like theirs. I have family and friends over all the time and they love coming over especially their kids, they say my house is like a mini-zoo, should I start charging admission?

Getting everyone taken care of is a big task. Fish tanks is what drags me down cause sometimes it takes hours for me to fix a problem on it when I can spend it with the other animals. The ones that needs us the most are the dogs, cats, and birds. Cleaning cages and scooping litter box, sweeping litter that my boy cat drags around( he's long haired so it gets attached to him), take dogs out, make water through ro/di system for fish and birds, plus regular house work plus more. That's a job itself other then my regular job...lol. that's why we're selling off our last saltwater tank and keep just one freshwater tank cause the cats and birds likes to look at them. I paid to have my yard fully fenced so I can put dogs outside while I play with my birds or cats. The cats play with each other so they don't want to be bothered too much unless they want treats. Or when they're sassing me for something they did, my girl cat pearl got poppy on the entrance of her litter box and she started carrying on until I go clean it up for her. Children! I tell ya...

Welcome! As you already know, this is a great place for information.

I toilet trained my 2 cats.. Yes. I taught them how to poop on the toilet. It was actually really easy and it helps so much with the hassel of scooping the litter, the smell, and all the litter that gets dragged around the house.

This is how we taught them.. Incase you want to know >_< haha.

Cass, we thought about doing that BUT my boy cat plays with water so he would be right in the toilet! If im running faucet water, he would be right there playing with it. So that unsanitary to me...lol. plus I don't wanna sit on the seat after the cats...lol

My first love was birds so that's the reason im willing to sell my fish tanks. Its not easy cause most of my fish I had them since they were babies. Because of the time consuming issue and because baby birds might be coming soon(eggs still infertile), its all for the best. We love to watch the birds plus you can interact with them unlike with fish. :)
