Hello! I want to start this with saying I personally don't own a parrot. I joined because I have a huge question about my roommates/landlords Amazon parrot and need help, but I'll be posting in a separate thread about that. I may come back in 9-10 years when I get a bird myself

I do wonder though, should I post it in questions and answers, amazon, or another thread? It's about her treatment of her parrot and actions I should take(it's a lot to write out).

You can consider several Forums that are general in terms of species.

Or, you can create a Thread in the Amazon sub-forum, which is species specific.

I would recommend that you check-out the Amazon sub-forum and the two Threads at the very top, which are highlighted in light blue. There is a ton of information in each and within the numerous Threads in the Forum itself.

Because I'm an Amazon Snob, I would of course recommend the Amazon sub-forum.

Will it reach everyone on the forum or just people who are on the Amazon forum? I am new to this forum and I know different form sites work in different ways. I want to be able to get as many people's opinions as possible here.

Welcome - I would echo the thoughts above, most of us just monitor active threads regardless of the sub-forum that you post in. Hope you stick around after you get your question answered, it’s a great place to learn if you are ever considering having a bird yourself
