Hi there folks, I'm making a card game about Aesop's vain crow/jackdaw - gathering all types of feathers and dressing himself up. I have found heaps of pictures of peacock feathers, pheasant feathers... now am trying to do other suits of cards, particularly macaw and Eclectus parrot. Next I will be looking for other birds, possibly smaller budgerigars, colourful passerines, and songbirds.
What I really need is photos of individual feathers from the back, neck, head and tummy of birds!
I'm hoping some of you have molt feather pics to show. All types of parrot feathers accepted. I will not be using the photos themselves but drawing and computer colouring the feathers from the photos.
