Here's a video (hopefully I get it up) thats shows how organized my gerbil is. He takes his food and stacks it up into a "mini wall". Thought I would share him with you all.

Tracy, OMG !! He not only fetches, he stacks, organizes and inventories!!! Is he for hire?? I have a lot of paperwork to get done, I'll pay bonus price for him!

OMG that is brilliant. I love his home. I've seen this in our Pet Shed they are amazing, I don't have anything to put in one though.

No no hamsters, gerbils, rats mice for me, did wonder about the Linnies though.

Now he has a third cage attached to his others, a huge 5 floor cage. He stacks it up until he is ready to eat it.

I had a chipmunk, quite long ago who was doing the same, stacking his food up in his home, not so organized though, he could hardly go inside afterwards..

I had to give him away because my hands were bleeding all the time after a period, I could not even open the cage door to put food in, he would dash, fast as light, stick on my hand and bite the s**t out of me!
