I just can't catch a break this week :(

So yesterday I found a small lump on my kittens back.. She is going to the vets today. But I'm sure it's just a reaction to her vaccination she had the day before because this can happen, which is why vets should NEVER give a vaccination in between the shoulders. Wish I knew this two days ago.
Ontop of that work is doing my head in, they want me workin more, which they can't seem to understand "sorry I need to go home and spend some time with my baby's", I burnt myself at work yesterday, pretty badly, I didn't go to the doctors, I guess it's okay. It's not hurting Anymore.
Scarlet screams all the time. Unless she's out.
My laptop broke. So now I can't get any of my photos, or papers I have spent hours writing for UNI.
It's also 6 months since my dad passed away today so like, my god what else.

I just needed a bit of a sook. Sorry lol.

Brodie, do you know how your laptop broke? If the hard drive is fine but nothing else is working, then you can get an external hard drive case (IDE or SATA - whatever your drive is), removing the drive from laptop, putting into case and using it as an external storage device. In this way, you can get items off of it without spending too much in repairs. If you don't have another computer, you may need to borrow one or go to a library?

I brought an external hard drive the other week, i saved all my movies and music on there so I could get rid of so much stuff on my laptop. Wish I had have thought to save everything else important on there

The laptop won't work at all, it's been through some hard times and I expected it lol. But still

It's just frustrating you know, when your dealing with so much crap at the one time, and you just can't focus on nothing!
Ah gosh.. I need to chill. Sometimes I wish I drank. Lol.

Wont work at all... bad battery... bad power adapter... blown caps... bad hard drive... or something else even... hard to say without it being seen by a tech.

I hope the drive is fine at least!

Maybe a relaxing bath or a walk around outside with Scarlet? Perhaps putting on a movie?

I haven't taken scarlet outside yet and don't have a harness yet so I think that might stress me out a bit more lol.

You're right about the trip outside! Hope you can find a way to relax before having to deal with the rest of the world! Maybe a nice hot cup of tea to go along with it? Which actually sounds kind of good to me atm! LOL

Work has been slow for me and I need more work! But well... when it snows, it hinders our shipments getting in so most of winter tends to be slow for me... and I hate it! So feel free to share some of the work load!

And that is not what I'm looking forward too lol.

I took the kitten back to the vets today, they are so stupid. "it couldn't be from the vaccination" yet they didn't charge me for anything today besides $16 for her antibiotics. They would have charged me if it wasnt from te vaccination.
I swear, I know more about most animals then the people work with them, or treat them.
It makes me so angry to think that whenever I go to a vet I have to worry and wonder if my pet is going to be treated right, medically, physically and emotionally. They do not know what they are doing.
I have a new avian vet though, his the best i could find in Melbourne, suggested to me from a vet I know. His great with scarlet, at least I don't have to worry about my birds being treated wrong. Thank god.

I hate those times in your life where everything just goes wrong at once. When it rains, it pours!! Don't worry about your data, there is a very good chance you can get it back. Look up data recovery. I was able to get my stuff back, it cost $400 but some of the stuff was priceless to me. Hope things improve for you dear! <3

I have 2 Catalina macaw brothers, Roscoe & Angel. Both were named by their breeder, so I didn't want to confuse them by changing them. My ekkie is Miss Leyla Belle La Rue Longhorn. Now her unique, or rather long name is due to my very good friend who lives in New York & adores anything southern helping me name her.

I also have a female pineapple green cheek conjure named Peta by her former owner. So I officially named her Peta Conchita Bonita. She is a sweetheart of a little thing. I do have 8 parakeets & for now that is my flock.

How's your kitten doing now? Has the lump gone down? Hope it is getting well. When my oldest shih tzu was a pup, a shot he was given at the vets. caused him to whine & cry like it was very painful between his shoulder blades after I got him home. I called them up & was told my dog was just a cry baby & the shot itself would not cause him any distress. He did o.k., but he was truly in pain for a little while.

Macaws are my absolute favorite & hopefully by this time next year I will have my Green Wing I have always wanted. I was given contact info' by a wonderful member here of a breeder in my state and I am now officially on her waiting list for the coming years hatching.

I just can't catch a break this week :(
