Took our dog to the beach today. I didn't get any pictures of him trying to swim off into the horizon but he did that lol. He loves the beach!

On the way home we stopped by a road side fruit stand...

Looks like someone had a blast at the beach :). Nice assortment of tropical Hawaiian fruit too!

We also went to Lowes but that was less picturesque lol. Less cuteness and more me saying "no he doesn't bite but he is working right now."

I remember you once saying Ranger is a GSD and Black Mouth Cur. I just googled the BMC. Interesting info about the breed. Seems there are different 'types' and a variety of sizes.

Yes, they have no real breed standard and different lines are used for different tasks.

I had always heard "cur" used synonymously with "mut." You should have seen the "you are such an idiot, bless your heart" look I got when the lady kept saying "they are curs" and I kept asking "but do you know what breeds the parents were?"

I always think of the beach as doggie paradise! But our Saint Bernard was not one of those - fresh water was fine, but we took her to the ocean with us ....

Wave approaches, Freckles barks at it and scares it away. Then is comes back!!! Stupid wave, cue more barking ... She loved the pond so much we thought she'd like the ocean, but you cannot argue logic with a dog!
