little dogs

Back on December 24th, my mom adopted 2 little dogs, Willie and Chilly. They were abused, most of their life. Willie is 8 years old, has barely any teeth, and is scared of humans. Chilly is 6 years, and needs some teeth removed. Both dogs had/has bad dental disease, and Willie had Lyme. both have sensitive stomachs, Willie has sensitive skin. Willie is a male Pekinese, Chilly is a male Pomeranian mix. Mom adopted them because she wanted a lap dog, not a lab who is 80+ pounds and thinks he is a lap dog. Willie and Chilly had to go together. Chilly likes to follow me around, Willie likes to hide behind the couch.
I don't know why, but Chilly and the cat both bonded to me. I don't know why animals like me.
After finding out how old the dogs were, mom didn't want to adopt them. I then told her that no one wants older dogs, and they are normally left in rescues and foster homes for the rest of their lives.
I always wanted to give an animal a second chance for Christmas, I can now cross that off my bucket list.

For what they went through, they look good now!

Awww, your pups are adorable! I am so glad y'all gave the 2 littles a home.
That third picture cracked me up, I get that same stare from my 2 boys when we are in the kitchen.

I get that stare but two of them are standing up.

Oh my gosh they are so cute! Thank you for giving them a loving home!

Great job coaxing your mom to adopt them regardless of age! I hope the experience proves wonderful and you'll consider this in the future!!
