Today is my first day of 13 days of vacation! (I actually only used up a week and a day of vacation, along with some cleverly placed regular days off to make it longer.) It's really a "stay-cation", we aren't going away anywhere. Just going to relax, get some work done around the house, etc. Want to get the front porch stained if this stinkin snow gets lost! A friend I haven't seen in 6 months is coming to stay with us for a few days too! 
Just thought I would share my happy dance.
River normally stays quiet until we get up or he hears the alarm. Today of course the alarm wasn't on, but for some reason about an hour and a half before the time we normally wake up he started babbling/chattering/talking up a storm! lol. At least he didn't do it terribly loud, and I like just sitting in the next room listening to what he's trying to say anyway.
