I came across an ad on craigslist about a woman who makes handpainted Christmas ornaments. I'm going to get one done of River. They look beautiful from the pictures of others she's done. I'm excited!

I don't think I'll do a tree this year, but if I did, I would decorate the entire thing with bird toys. Lol.

ACK?! No tree??? I absolutely love Christmas trees! I would have mine up already, but I've been staining the porch/stairs and don't want to have to haul the tree and everything out of the basement (door is only from the ouside) and up the hill around to the back. I will just have to wait until the stain is dry. I will definately show a picture of the ornament when it's done. If I like it, I will probably order ones of the other pets eventually too.

Well, I live by myself in a small apartment, so it's not like I'm depriving kids or anything. I might get a small potted tree for Puck, but I'm considering moving into a cheaper living situation and then taking a long trip (with Puck, of course), so I don't feel right taking on another living thing, lol.

we are still wondering where to put the tree as nuts day cage kinda dwarfs the room already lol

but pics of ornament

i was toyin with the idea of gettin a plant (nut safe of course) an throwin a bit of decor on that?? but man had a fit over the idea!

I've decorated my palm tree before, & they have the small potted pine trees that dont take up alot of room. I've done a mini tree before & it was beautiful. I planted it in my yard the following spring.

I plan to let Lucy attack my folks' tree this year... haha she's christmas colors!!

I can make custom ornaments with photographs they go on ceramic stars and the image will never scratch off. I'm making a few for my mom for christmas! We do coasters too!

I'm hoping to kind of do the same for Keen and Opi. Although, Opi FREAKS whenever I put anything new in his cage, so maybe not Opi. Keen is always game for something new to play with.

Two eleven year old toy fox terriers, an eleven year old cat, and a three year old cat. I need to get around to putting them in the nonfeathered pets section.

Yep, it's on a round glass ball ornament. She included a really pretty hanger too.

That tree is a very convincing fake. lol. And River, as much as he wants to play with the giant shiney tree, isn't allowed on it lol.
