It's one of my favorite times of the year around here right now ... the first batches of Butter and Sugar Corn on the Cob are coming out of the fields around here ... so the boys got a nice little treat last night ... here are some pics ...

Yeah we haven't seen much of them in a while, but as ever they are beautiful. Bucc loves the bridge Hamlets on,

"Oh whats he doing, clever birdie" (thats bucc) Kito just looks then carries on eating my shirt.:eek:

HAHA thats great, I did the same thing with the corn. The first time she didnt know what to make of it and she kept tossing the cob at the bottom of the cage. She also did this the 2nd time we tryed it. But yesterday she went to pick it up and toss it and she mush of got a tast of it, because she turned around and put it back into the dish. :rolleyes: then proceeded chow down... well she then desided to chew on the cob its self, needless to say there wasnt any evidence it was even on a cob. My mom was like "did you cut this up for her" ... "NOPE!" .... thats my little wood chipper :60:

Mmmmm...I love corn on the cob and apparently so does Gigi and Sisqo. They don't chew up the cob though, just make sure that they get every last little kernel that they can.

What adorable pics! The Olathe Sweet corn should be near harvest here shortly. Oooo, my birdies are gonna have lots of fun!!! :D
