I know there are a few CO members here, and I'm sure parrots are just one of the many furry/feathered friends around the house. My fiancee is getting a pommeranean so I was wondering if anyone had any reccomendations on a vet, prefferably around littleton

Luis, I had a vet long ago down in your area. His name has escaped me. He saved my Moe dog from Parvovirus, near death. As soon as I can come up with his name, I'll gladly pass that to your attention. It has been some time now and I am hoping he is still in practice.

And, congratulations on your new addition! Pommies are cute little buggers! :D

Ok, Luis, I think (not positive) that I've found my old veterinarian for you. He has moved a bit further south, but still not far. (Lone Tree did not exist when I lived in Littleton/Denver ... Denver-metro is unrecognizable to me now!). ...

When/if you inquire, this man should be of advanced age if it is the same doctor that I used.

William Moyle, DVM
8681 East Lincoln Avenue
Lone Tree, CO 80124

Please note that the service directory does list him as a "bird doctor" ... I do not believe he is an Avian Specialist and would recommend that you go to Dr. LaBonde for your avian needs.

Best of luck ... I can also ask my own veterinarian here locally for a referral ... he has a pretty good network of people he refers to. And, us country bumpkins have to sometimes venture into the big city for services when needed.
