Yep 11.38pm and way past my beauty sleep time here, Jemma gets here exam results tomorrow, and now that I've got her all calmed down and in bed its my turn to start fretting for her. It really is nerve wrenching all the waiting. Not sure just how she's coping with it all.

But you know me mate, I take the mickey outta you so its only fair you get to take the mickey outta me. I can take it. :D See now thats how tired I am

Oh sweet Peta and tielgal ... you are in my thoughts, as always. It's easy to say not to fret, but being a mum, you gotta--it's in your genes. I know that all will be well. ((((tons of hugs and positive thoughts)))) :60:

Really? Keupi gets cranky b/c I'm on the computer in my office and his tree isn't set up yet therefore he's not allowed. I guess on fid-speak - cranky is as cranky does. (Though I'm wary about the distance - he did some damage, and almost called England to/on one of my cordless phones... they can fly people... they can fly!!!)

I sense that many a time people come to ask a specific question and get an answer rather than share amongst the life of fids. I'm a newbie so take it for what it's worth.

But there's a lot of threads, and I sense some issues that just get left.

Sure they can ! They're birds remember? No matter how cuddly, loving, affectionate, curious, playfull, funny even aggressive at times they are, besides being our beloved little fids they still have those wings that nature provided them with that gives them the capability to get what they want (clipped or not..)!My birdies are all clipped but can still fly shortly.Phoebus did anything to get the piece of pizza I was eating the other day!I just gave him a tiny bite of the bread part! :D

But there's a lot of threads, and I sense some issues that just get left.

What's that?Do you mean sth in specific?Do bring them up again and again when you want answers, suggestions to sth!We are here for that after all..:D

Keupi, yeah unfortunately some threads do get left unresolved, purely because we're not professionals but only bird people that may have had the same thing happen or we have read something that may have helped. For instance a screaming parrot, we all have different ways of dealing with it that don't work on other fids,

Please don't ever feel that because you are a newbie you shouldn't say anything to bring us back to the subject in hand, sometimes thats just what we need. Also if you don't agree with something that we may say then tell us, we don't take it personally and its always good to have the perspective of others. :D

What I was meaning there was night times when the fids are in bed, the putor doesn't disturb them. During the day, they sit on top of the door watching me or they come and sit with me, looking at the fids. The first thing Bucc does when he comes in here is say "find the birdies" and I have to show him some pics. :D
