This one, i ahve Birds for Dummies and its really good, but this doesn't have a review for it so i'm guessing it good since i also have cockatiels for dummies, and they're both real good and usually the dummy books are good.

And This Book:
[ame]http://www.amazon.ca/Second-Hand-Parrot-Mattie-Sue-Athan/dp/0764119184/ref=sr_1_1/702-0406293-3211218?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1188353370&sr=1-1[/ame]

And this book i don't plan on adopting/rescueing a ;second hand parrot' anytime soon but its looks really interesting and heard great comments about it. And in the future i may decide to rescue.

Anyway that's all. If you have any other books that you recommend, let me know. Thanks

Yea, I own Parrots for Dummies (surprise surprise) , Guide to a Well Behaved Parrot, and Parrot Training...I thought all of them have decent points and are interesting reads...Don't base their effectiveness on Iggy's behavior ROFL.

I've got guide to a well behaved parrot. Got it a long long time ago in a faraway land when I got my first parrot, a blue crowned Conure, Echo.
It's a wonderful book, I believe they expand on it every few years. I need a new one as mine is falling apart from years of use.. and from the bites of my not well behaved parrots.

Aww you had a blue crowned conure. I want one of those! The only thing that's stopping is i don't what i'd when i move out. You see they're kind of loud. My mom has said she'd take care of any of my pets/birds when i move out but still.

My Blue Crown wasn't loud at all.
That's only because you couldn't hear him over the Umbrella and Goffins Cockatoo teaching baby Madison how to scream.
Honestly though he was very quiet.. he spent his entire life hanging upside down from his ropes. I set up a huge network of ropes throughout the entire bird room when I lived in NJ. They could get anywhere in the room by climbing them and Echo played on them upside down all day.. I called him my baby bat.
He was probably just an odd duck though, as he was the quietest bird I have ever had live with me. That or he was screwed up from all the blood to his head :D
