Mishka's attempt to be in the Guinness Book Of World Records

Hello to all new members !!!!!!!!!!! and welcome to our wonderful forum

To the old ones I AM BACK LoL What have you guys been up to?

So much to catch up with, don't know where to begin !!!!!!! :32:

I would like to share something with you all

For the last two weeks I have devoted all my time to Mishka's attempt to be in the Guinness Book Of World Records.

6 Weeks ago I approached the Guinness Book Of World Records, pertaining to Mishka vocabulary. Friends convinced me to contact them.
I sent them a list of all his words and saying etc.
I was shocked when they replied.............
They need proof of all his words and sayings.
Requesting video's, a list of words etc.

I have been extremely busy putting together what is required from them.
It took me many many hours of editing his video's.

I sent 2 video's - (long ones)
One of Mishka and myself having daily conversations
The other Mishka talking on his own.
Took me 15 hours to upload these two video's on youtube. (thank God we are uncapped)

They required pictures - made an album

They required a new list of words and sentences he is saying. Had to view all the vid's again, adding in all his new sayings etc.

I enjoyed it thoroughly BUT am glad it is finally finished.
I practically spent the last 4 days putting everything together.
Gave it my 150% dedication.

WOW!!! How exciting is that?? I know it was a lot of work, but you have to be so thrilled it's beyond words.

I will be rooting for Mishka and excitedly awaiting word on what happens.

I decided to devote all my time, having no distractions of any kind.
Let me tell you, it was tough OMG never ending. Watching so many video's, over and over again, trying not to duplicate any. Then putting in ones where he changes the wording. I even dreamt of editing video's, it was very tiring.

I'm sure it was a huge amount of work. And yes, when you start dreaming about your project as well, you know it really has completely taken over your thoughts.

I see Mishka is only 4 years old which makes this accomplishment even more amazing.

Yes, I almost PMed you one day to ask if you were ok.

Mishka is a record setter for sure. He is a very smart and is fortunate enough to have a guardian that enriches his life each and every day.

Wow! I'm so proud of Mishka! How many words does he say? All that work but I'm sure every second is worth it. What a brilliant boy!!

I just did a word count it is 978 words..... last I checked a couple of weeks ago was 700 and something. I am absolutely shocked, but thrilled for him.

Thanks Spiritbird, you have always believed in Mishka, standing by us when he entered the International Bird Talking Competition, saying he would win, and he did.

I am so fortunate that Mishka enjoys talking so much, LoL guess he takes after me. We all enrich our birds lives, one way or the other. Mishka actually enriches my life each and every day.

978, OMG! If that isn't a record, I can't imagine what is. Rowdy might know 100, and I thought she was pretty amazing. I'm not sure though as she says new things all the time, and often will say something and then never say it again. It would be hard for me to even remember everything she has said. She is the only bird I've had that does that. The others, once they learned something, would keep saying it.

Mishka sounds like a record setting talker!
