i can walk again!

Two weeks ago I was boiling water to make formula and I went to poor the boiling water into a container and it slipped spilling the water onto my feet. I got second degree burns covering half way up my left foot and on the toes, and about a three inch spot of second degree burns on my right foot. I broke both my arms at the same time over the summer and that cant compare to boiling water. I was on crutches for two weeks but now I can wear loose shoes and I can pretty much walk normally(I still limp though).
What sucks is I am in the middle of baseball season but because of this I cant play for at least another month.
Well at least I can function now(my mom was my slave,lol). I'm glad this is almost over!

My goodness you were harsh on yourself....I'm glad your doing better now though....I fell down the hill Friday from doing weed whacking in the yard, my yard is sloped pretty good and down I go on my butt and back so I'm still in pain....I hope that don't bring up my old injury on my right back with pinched nerve that cause me not being able to walk for weeks every so many years....

Just curious... How can you use crutches with 2 broken arms??? Maybe these events happened at different times?

Oh no no, I broke both my arms at the beginning of last summer, I was just saying that boiling water hurts more than breaking both my arms.

OMG I though I was the only Murphy's Law in this world
You sure have had a tough time, hey at least you are over the worst. I could have been so much worse.

I had an ice-skating accident almost ten years ago.
My right had was out of action for 6 months in a cast. (still basically is) Have 13 different "Freddie Kruger" hand pieces. Had to learn to write with my left hand.

THEN I got carpal tunnel in both hands, was operated on both hands.. Had to drive with a cast on both hands (got stopped by the cops many many times)

After that I had 5 operations on right hand, no luck, nerve is completely severed.

THEN last year I had to have a shoulder operation on my left shoulder, it collapsed from the strain of over working (doing two hands work)

But hey there is still light and the end of my tunnel, I have began writing with my right hand again SO I AM AMBIDEXTROUS.
