And yet another dog food recall *sigh*

Wellness recall

Sorry for posting these recalls on a parrot forum but I know a lot of members have dogs as well.

It's just crazy ! I seriously have to consider going back to raw completely !!
I would not want to find out my dog food is next to be recalled.
Somewhere , someone's dog was affected for a recall to happen.
Unless its a voluntary recall of course , but still , it's too scary !!

I feed my miniature pinscher wellness.Thank goodness she was on the healthy weight and the food was in the recalled dates.

we have two elderly min pins but I make my own dog food and have for almost 2 years but most use dry food and or canned dog food and I for one appreciate the recall warning. Thank you Alison and sweetie pie

I just heard there is also a Natural Balance recall. I'm looking further into it , but I just wanted to let you guys know about it.

I use Iams because everything else makes my dogs stomach upset, but thanks for the warning.

Now I feel even worse, I always make it a point to not buy anything from p&g(animal testing) and I never knew they did dog food so I never thought to look. *sigh

Aww , don't feel bad Icy , you didn't know , so it doesn't count .
I have a really bad feeling about all these recalls...
Why don't you look into Bravo Foods or Natural Instinct , Morigins , BARF , there are a few other raw food diets too . They look more like hamburger patties , not raw meat that your thinking of. Check them out , you might feel better about giving your dogs raw.
You just might have to the way things are going with the processed foods.

I feed Organix.

Just switched off of the Wellness CORE...my dog turned her nose up after a while.

Hope everyone's puppies are okay (if you feed Wellness). <3

Oh yes. I'm a dog trainer, and honestly? I see terrible things come out of the dogs that feed P&G products and even worse, the Mars brand products. Pedigree? *shudder*
