OMG this is the most hilarious thing ever, happening to Mishka and myself.
Saturday morning I took Mishka to the vet. On the the way back there was a road block. I was told to pull over (THEY ALSO DO THIS TO ME)
I pulled over, opened the windows for fresh air. A black metro cop, said hello, in a very very deep voice, and asked for my driver's license. I gave it to him.
Mishka was in his traveling cage and replied, MISHKAAA
(When I say to Mishka in a deep voice HELLO, he always replies MISHKAAA in a deep voice)
The cop burst out laughing and said what was that. I showed him Mishka in his cage. He said there is no ways that at bird can talk.
The Blacks in South Africa are very ignorant about birds.
He then called the other cops, and told them this bird can talk. Most of them refused to believe that a bird can talk. One of them recognized Mishka and I from a previous newspaper article.
Mishka was a bit scared, having only even seen a black person once before. He just stood there. I then had to prove to them that a bird can actually talk. I played them a recording of a video I have on my cell phone.
I wish you could have seen their faces..... it was priceless
While chatting to them about Mishka, so many vehicles just drove past not being checked, I think they should thank Mishka !!!!!
