Is there anyone on the forum living near Aspen or Carbondale Co? I have not heard from my daughter for a few days now and she is not responding to my calls. I am getting worried. If you do live near these towns please tell me the fires are still north of there. Thanks

Oh no. Im sure she is fine, the fire might have just taken out the power lines so that's why she can't call you. You are both in my thoughts.

Thanks everyone, your support helps big time. I left another message on her cell phone last night. Most people do take the celll phone with them and if there was something wrong I know she would call me.

Keep us posted. I just spoke to my BFF out there and she said cell service is limited as well because the emergency responders get to flood the signals. Thinking of you....no news is good news. I can imagine what your feeling

I placed a call today to my daughters twin sister (other daughter) who was on line with her sister. She actually called me yesterday and left a message. I have a new message system and it does not alert me in any way when I have messages. Now I can breathe easy. She is ok. It has been 97 98 degrees in Aspen for 2 weeks with no rain in over a month. There are strict bans on things like burning outside and even for smokers who must go outside. Thanks again for your well wishes.
