Exclamation Humane Society saves 100+ birds in horrid conditions!!

For those that do not get Humane Society's All animals magazine, I read this article today and want to let others on here know about it. Also wondering if anyone on here already knew about this incident and what has happened to the 100+ birds so far?

Here is the link to the article:
More than 100 Birds Rescued from Alleged Cruelty and Neglect in Ohio : The Humane Society of the United States

Here is the video of them rescuing the birds (a lil graphic):

Oh my gosh! How could someone keep those prescious animals like that?! That is so horrible, oh how I wish I could get my hands on the owner of that store!
I'm glad they are out of there, and I hope whoever is responsible for this gets put away with no chance of parol!

It is pretty disgusting when you can't even trust a sanctuary. They do need governing it seems. That is a heartbreaking story.

That poor african grey in the photo looks so bad. Sometimes I am just ashamed of these humans who do such a thing. Just shows you please know the person you are giving or selling your bird to. What you see is not always what you see if you know what I mean.

Yes this was talked about a lot in several forums, your only hearing the UHUS side of the story. Lots of controversy about what was what. Some said it was all a ploy for donations and members tried to visit the place, lot of mud slinging and conflicting reports.

Thanks for the heads up. I joined this forum back in January and didn't remember seeing anyone talk about this. I can see that there could be conflicting reports about this. Do you know what happened to the birds and such after the whole thing?
