I guess chocolate doesn't kill all birds. I'm sure she misses him dearly.

Hopefully she only gave him the biscuit part of the Kit Kat.
He sure lived a long and happy life

Aww , how sad !! .
All birds should live that long in captivity.
Poor woman , I feel so sad for her . She is alone the first time in her life :(
Maybe she will adopt another bird or something.....so she has companionship.

American Bulldog Mix,
Birds could live a while in captivity if we would just treat them with precaution and love. If a kit kat eating Grey can live till 55 in captivity, imagine if he had been on a healthy diet. Birds can live a while, it's up to us to make sure of that. My grand mother has parrots with bands proving their ages - a Nanday conure, who plucked his chest bald due to abuse from a previous owner, 35 years old, male, healthy and loud as can be, also very feisty while in a cage. 2 amazons 23-27 years, very active and almost hyper when the right people are around. And all 3 are on a seed diet, which is not even the healthiest and they have never been taken to the vet, except obviously once born. They have no signs of settling down and they are not the most well cared of for birds due to thier diet and lack of medical care, but they're still going strong.
