I wanted to set up my own business, just a small one where I can make something and sell it online, help pay the bills and what not!
Then I thought of a fantastic idea! I could create an online bird toy story, make everything myself.
But I just wanted opinions on weather or not this would work? I'm going to make a website, postpone actually selling anything till early next year, and see if I get enough orders. I don't want to buy everything, and get my hopes up too much if I can't make it work
I would have so much fun doing it though! Lol.
Let me know what you think!!

i think its a great idea! let us know when its up and running so we can order . you could even expand it by selling supplies and food! i think as long as you start small and make the toys yourself, you have more to gain than loose. good luck!

It is a great idea--as long as you do your research and make toys that are safe. I currently purchase from an online store (which also has an ebay site) and I can save quite a bit of money by doing this.

Quite a few people already do this! Your challenge will be creating something that is fun and interesting, yet different than what's already out there on the market! Be creative!



If you are determined to do so, and you have the resources and time, then I say to go for it!!!!

haha thanks!! You need to make big bird toys without putting the price up so ridiculously like the rest of Australia hehe

Maybe you can have a 'Fargo Range' and just make all the colour blue and gold LOL :54: :09:

Hahaha! That would be awesome! Lol Fargo could be a mascot haha!

I wanna do it so everyone can get lower prices, but good quality safe products. I know how difficult it I to get that in Australia! Lol. So don't worry about prices! They may be average till I get it going but I guarantee once I'm up and running prices will be really good!
