Yesterday I posted a thread,
You are going without ME !!!!!!!

Members on our forum were humerous and played along.

I have not been to the movies for 5 years, actually since I became Mishka's guardian. Steven and his girlfriend took me "on a date" LoL

I posted it on facebook as well, many saw the humerous side as well.

A very ignorant female on facebook replied :

Have you thought of Saling that Africa Grey because every year they
have a bird show here twice one in the Spring time and another in Sept. That bird will died of lonelness without friend

Can you believe it, she thinks Mishka is lonely.

My reply to her :
Charlotte, It was the first movie I went to in 5 years, the reason being I am always with Mishka. I would never ever sell Mishka, he IS one of our family members. He would die of boredom in a bird park. I spend 2 hours with him before work, and 3 hours after work each and every day, including a 1 hour training session each day. Weekends he has my full attention 24/7. Do yourself a favour, go view a few of Mishka's vidoe's http://www.youtube.com/user/antoinet...?sort=p&view=0 and tell me that he is lonely. We spend hours and hours together. He is the happiest most content bird, anyone could wish for.

OMG.. What a nerve

How could she possibly think Mishka was lonely??? Does she even know anything about Birds?

Just ignore her Sis, she is obviously very jealous of Mishka and is out to annoy you in any way she can

I saw her comment as soon as she posted it, not that i was stalking Mishka or anything

But when i read it, i was so surprised, i had to actually wait for Wendy to read it because i thought i was reading it wrong!! Who in the world would suggest selling Mishka because he is going to die of loneliness ?

I replied to that comment as well haha, I couldn't believe it!! Don't let it get to you ant, some people are so ignorant and stupid!!! I get comments from people that its wrong of me to keep Audrey as a pet, but I say she isn't my pet, shes a part of my family and I love her and give her the best possible life! Try and tell me that Audrey isn't happy haha!
Some people just don't get it!

LOLOLOLOL ! Just splurted my soda all over my iPad , choking in laughter . That is something that belongs to surprise pictures ! She must know nothing about birds obviously . I admire how you kept your calm at the comment and kindly replied. Very few do that. Mishka can't be lonely , we all know she sneaks invitations to Codie and Fargo for a party at her place lol

Just like when you have human children, parents need to be people too! You can't love others if you don't love yourself. It's always important to take a break from your routine once in a while.

Don't EVER feel guilty for going out to a movie or to get something to eat, because WE all know how much you love Mishka, and it shows in his behavior.

that picture is amazing! hahahaha. i almost died. i woke my mom up from across the house with my laughing! she called me into her room and asked what could possibly be that funny. haha. and yeah totally, Mishka is totally unloved and bored.....um...NO. i bet you spend more time with him than you do alone. haha. thats like saying Cooper is unloved because i go to school. haha.

I too was so shocked, I had not seen it on facebook, my brother in Italy e-mailed me.... he was furious.

Many people think I am absolutely made, when going out, and have to be home to give him dinner, they say it's only a bird, IT can wait...
I always reply, Mishka is not an IT, he is a family member, would you keep your child waiting?

Then there are a lot of unloved birds around.

I mentioned it to Steven, he also laughed, but still have to show him the picture, he is going to go hysterical with laughter.

To Charlotte Gwynn Miciotto, find other birds for the bird park, Mishka would HATE IT THERE, and the guy in South Africa, who wants to purchase Mishka for financial gain FORGET IT !!!!!

I do not need Mishka to go overseas to become wolrd famous, he already is...........

Mishka is a treasured member of our family and will always be.
He is loved and cared for, happy and content.
He brings so much joy and happiness into our lives, I can't imagine our lives without him.

I do not sell off a family member, no matter how much is being offered........

No amount of money would ever be enough for Mishka !!!!!!!
