Thank you to the members of this forum. I'm involved in several companion parrot forums. Sure i've had issues here but this forum is the most understanding ,open and honest forum i've been involved with. My goal is to help new owners with their birds, this is the place i would recommend to a new parront.thank you for your efforts to be open minded and keep the bird's interest /well being as your main priority . You folks rock.

I completely agree with Richard, and would only like to add that this forum has ENRICHED my life more than I can put into words.

I've "met" terrific people, made GREAT friends for life and even found a "daughter".

To tell you the truth, I get cranky when I can't spend as much time on here as I'd like.

When I joined PF in June of this year I didn't think I'd end up spending much time here, since I'd never felt compelled to become very active on any bird forum I'd joined previously. I figured that maybe I'd check the threads once per week or so. Well, obviously things turned out a bit differently than I'd guessed they might. In fact, here's an excerpt from my very first post (made on June 29):

I'm typically not a very active forum contributor. I made a decision, though, to join a couple of new parrot forums this week. I may not always promptly reply in threads, but on those occasions I don't I'll certainly get to it eventually.

As you can see, I misestimated a bit . To me, that's clear evidence that this is a spectacular parrot forum!

My mom says I live on the internet. I say I live on Parrot Forums. I cannot stay an HOUR without wanting to come on here. That's how much I simply LOVE this place.
