They are wanting to use Mishka's voice in a TV advertisement.

[/FONT][FONT=&quot]My name is Henk and I work for a Johannesburg based advertising agency…………[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]We are working on an animal anti cruelty commercial for which we require a parrot voice. I got in touch with Barbara in the States who forwarded me your email address. I am hoping to find out from you if Mishka would be capable of assisting us. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]We essentially hope to build a script based on what the parrot in question can already say, i.e. We will be doing a great deal of production work. [/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]At the moment I would like to know if you would be interested in having Mishka talk for our ad and also if you could maybe forward me a list of things that the bird can say.[/FONT]

Dear Antoinette

Would it be possible for the engineer and one or two of my creatives to come and see you this weekend (Saturday perhaps).
We would like to see the set up and just check the environment in which we would be recording … we have a few considerations from our side which we would like to discuss with you.

We don't want to intrude but in order for us to get this recording done right the first time we would like to perhaps have a mic on a tripod put in place so that Mishka will be accustomed to the mic and not bothered by 'new' surroundings.
Can you let me know if this next weekend suits you?

You and Mishka can do this, Ant, NO doubt in my mind! Mishka will be the voice for all the animals who lose their habitat! What a GREAT opportunity!!!!!

Great news............ very exciting

The fun has began........ I began training Mishka this morning, LoL he has a mind of his own and is putting in many extra words !!!!!

Wow, what an honor this is. I just hope that Mishka doesn't miss his que. Because birds are fickle at best and will only talk when THEY feel like it and say what THEY want to say.

They are aware that Mishka will not talk in unfamiliar surroundings, and are prepared to record him here at home. I did mentioned to them birds will talk and say what they want to when it suits them, thus the reason they will bring the mic etc here....
Not sure how the recordings will take place, once he has learnt the new words and sentences.

Will keep you updated for sure

What about "mommy is a w...e" (a lady of the night) which I must stress Steven taught him. He says that about 20 times a day without fail.

I know we are going to have quite a few laughs

I think the producers' equipment will be dropped if Mishka says that.
