I received a pm from Wendy saying she had an accident.

Wendy fell of a horse and is in bad shape.

Her hip is killing her no matter what position she is in and can barley walk.
There may be rib injuries as well, as it hurts like hell when taking deep breaths. Her shoulder is also injured.

When I received the pm, Wendy was waiting for Alex (her husband) to come home.

Please keep Wendy in your prayers !!!!

Argh horses! A friend of mine ended up in hospital with suspected broken back after a crash driving track work. Very lucky to have nothing broken. I hope it is nothing serious in this case also!

Were you riding Dakota? You said he sometimes shies and spooks? I am guessing he did a sudden jerk to the side..

I am really hoping he didn't stand on you

A fall off can give you broken bones, but if he has stood on you, or you have gone under him, then i don't even want to think about what could be wrong

I just finished riding Kyros, some news that might give you a smile, he is now clearing a 1m jump

He will be a fantastic jumper like Blues was!!

We know the dangers of riding horses, especially with eventing and jumping, but we still do it :54:

Was reading in my horse magazine the other week, that horse riding is 4 times more dangerous than motorbike riding!

Accidents are bound to happen, even your olympic riders fall of their horses, just the risks of riding the big beautiful creatures !

It's amazing how we NEVER think of getting peoples cell phones numbers, until something like this happens.
