Early Tuesday morning my 16 year old granddaughter and her friend left home and nobody has heard from them since. They used an ATM machine in Portage, IN on Tuesday and we believe they are headed west. There has been mention of the Dakotas, but for all I know, they're headed for California. Please look at this facebook page and if you see them please let me know. Leave me a message here or on facebook. Thank you.

Thank you Wendy. Hopefully we'll flood the internet with enough pictures and descriptions that someone will eventually (hopefully SOON) find them and we can be sure they're safe.

I have posted the link onto my time line. I hope this helps learn the location of these girls and know they are safe. I tend to use my FB account for gaming and because of playing the games the friends list consists of people from all over the United States and worldwide.

I pray they are found safely and return home.

Please take care of yourself Bruce. I believe in time they will be found and be safe.

I hope they are found safe and sound soon... and this was just some ill-thought-through misguided teenage adventure.

Is there any sort of amber alert out on the vehicle? California has that...

Bruce, I am very sorry to hear of this horrible situation your family is going through now. I don't have FB, but saw the pic and read the info available. I'm sorry this is happening! I hope they just thought a road trip without telling anyone was a good idea. I shared this on my timeline. I also shared in my Semester at Sea group (my study abroad program) which has about 500 people from all over the states who will hopefully share it on their own timeline!
