Does anyone have recommendations? I have spent the last few hours trying to find new music to listen to and only came up with one new band that sounds interesting. They don't have to sing in english either I have other languages in my music library even if I don't understand a thing:) I did like quite a few of the songs I heard in Turkey but never bought or wrote any down so if anyone has any of those to recommend...

For some reason even with over a thousand songs on my computer I just can't find much to listen to:52: Some of the stuff I have in my music library:

Chevelle
Adam Lambert
Adele
Avenged Sevenfold
The Black Keys
Copperview
Disturbed
Korn
Evanescence
Everlast
Fair To Midland
Godsmack
Imagine Dragons
Lansdowne
Linkin Park
Maroon 5
Matchbox Twenty
Muse
Nine Lashes
Parabelle
A Perfect Circle
Saliva
Sevendust
Society Red
Vertical Horizon
Within Temptation
3 Doors Down
Seven Circle Sunrise - The one I just bought tonight...

I do have some country music but don't listen to it much right now. One of my favorite songs is Hurt by Johnny Cash:) I do listen to random things so the list isn't comprehensive or a reflection of the weird random things I listen to...

So any recommendations???

Wow, I'm a professional classical musician and never heard any of these… What about some Mozart, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff or Brahms? LOL :D

Wow veimar, a professional musician! :) May I ask what instrument you play?

For most of my life I've mainly listened to classic rock n' roll, new wave, plus newer music too, also some new age instrumental is beautiful. I can handle a bit of jazz now and then too.

However, my newest musical interest is CLASSICAL!!

Last year, I actually stumbled across a small radio station out here by accident! It's broadcast from USC. The university's own radio station, it's all classical music and some opera. It caught my ear for a minute... Then I've been listening ever since! It's one of the stations on my car radio now. I'm still becoming familiar with it, and most of the time I have no idea who I'm listening to lol.
I especially LOVE the dark moody pieces played with a Cello!

Birdie, my Lutino lovebird.
Since you like somewhat alternative/rock music (Evanescence, Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park, etc.), you could try some of the less popular songs by Fall Out Boy...
Miss Missing You
Just One Yesterday <-- this one is always stuck in my head

And other groups like that (Death Cab for Cutie). :)

Veimar I do listen to classical once in a blue moon:) I took a Fine Arts class and there were a couple songs I liked that were introduced but not enough to own them or listen to them all the time.

Thanks Witchbaby! They are more electronic then I like but some are really interesting. I will probably buy Lindsey even though it has less singing/words then I usually go for when listening to music!

I usually like Fallout boy since I listened to them nonstop in junior high but I'm not a fan of their new album:( I was very disappointed when it came out.

Thanks guys:D I found quite a few that I like from these suggestions especially BACONs!

I bought a Lindsey Stirling album, Cage the Elephant album, and one Arctic Monkeys song! Added a bunch of the other artists to my wishlist to buy later:) I might buy the new Biffy Clyro album before the day is up... or Jack Bugg he is pretty interesting...
