Well the time has come in which I will be purchasing a smart phone. My cell currently can only text and take calls. Its a old 3G phone that has internet access but is way too frustrating to actually go on line with it.
This workhorse has been fine for me for quite a while. It was a hand me down phone my Ex gave me to use so I could have cell access and get rid of the land line. I joined back into the cell phone world when a sobering experience with road rage left me vulnerable with the incapability to call for help.
Now that I need to rejoin the workforce I took a small month contract with a company downtown Minneapolis. I don't have a computer assigned to me so I cannot use the internet to look up information about operating systems, networks with software and hardware questions I need answers for so when I needed information on something I either have to ask a co-worker or look it up on a users PC while waiting for work to be finished. I realized I really need a way to access the net with my own equipment hence one reason I need to upgrade my phone.
My sister gave me her Verizon phone but my account is with T Mobile. In the attempt to swap out simm card and brute force my way in a Verizon O/S with the T Mobile pass key resulted in a not fully functional phone. Sure I can use it but some of the apps do not work and I was not satisfied with what I could get working so I went to the T Mobile store for some assistance. In visiting the store I learned THE PHONE I WANT IS ONLY A HUNDRED BUCKS! This phone is normally $300 and I cannot afford that right now so I have been waiting until I have a stable full time job in order to be able to purchase it.
I have decided when I get paid I will invest into a better cell phone that has internet access and a way BETTER CAMERA! I will be able to take pictures of Valentino and update with how he is doing and how his colors are changing. Soon I will be putting up more pictures of Valentino. I know how the form LOVES pictures.
I do realize my fav phone price dropped because a newer model came out but that sucker is $450 bucks and I am just not going to pay that much for a cell phone. The one where the price dropped to $100 is a very good phone with much of the same features as the expensive one and I know it is a very good phone that is stable with little trouble issues.
My plan is to buy the $100 phone straight out and when I can afford to I will update my plan from being on Lupe's account as a second line to getting my own account. This is when I will be able to update to one of those uber cells and not have to fork out hundreds of dollars right away.
