I hate to complain, lots of folks are having it worst than me. The LOW was 84F last night, humidity about 90%, and the bugs are bad. No change for the next few days. I can't enjoy fishing, even at night.

Last week the highs were in the 90's but it cools off a lot at night. This week we're looking at 69 right now and its 3:30. It's supposed to be cool and cloudy all week. Which I'm welcoming with open arms since we have no ac at our house.

This week in SoCal - North Orange County (inland a ways from the beach), it's around 90. Although it is not near humid as the Southern US :)eek:!) it's A LOT more humid than it used to be years ago. I hate the heat, so not looking forward to 105 degrees F that we get here in August/September!

It is actually lovely in NJ right now. But the bugs--wow!! I can hardly step outside without being eaten alive. :( I love summer too, but I am spending way too much of it inside this year. It is currently 81 with a gentle breeze.

I just don't know how you hot weather folks manage! It's cooler here than usual for July, that's for sure. It's been a cold summer. It did get over 80 the other day for a few hours...but right now, it's 66 degrees. 56% humidity. Lots of mosquitos this year, but I'm pretty sure that it doesn't compare.

Good luck guys!

Mid 100's here, during the day. I went to see my sister today(less than two miles away) and was sweating before the AC could stop blowing warm air LOL.

But that's Texas though. The sun is starting to set so right now it's 86. :p

Oh man I do not miss that Texas heat. Luckily every house we lived in growing up had AC though and we could walk to the county pool. Then I traded it for Colorado winters. Couldn't say which one I'd rather have lol.

I hate the cold, but it's harder to escape the heat.(And more expensive to keep a house cool!) but I've lived here my whole life, so I'm over it for the most part. :p:D

I live in Southern California at the 3,000' elevation. It was 81* high today. Nights are in the mid 60's right now. I have not even turned on the air conditioner for several years although we do get a few hotter days. Occasionally, when it gets too warm, I use a couple of 5 gallon water coolers which can "freeze my knees off" if I sit in front of them :)

That's where I grew up. The "big" 1 sq. mile town of Big Lake, Texas. I actually have family around the Dallas area. I don't mind the winters here as long as I don't have to go anywhere when it snows. Hate driving here when the roads are icey.
