Gilbert Oliver, Blue Crown Conure; Georgie, Sun Conure (2/8/01-8/8/12) RIP little girl; Percy, budgie 1993-1999. RIP Pepito-spanish timbrado canary
Gilbert entered this contest....and, in the end, it doesn't matter THAT much which pet wins because the prize will donate to the animal charity of the winner's choice, so really they are all winners. :) But if you want to vote for Gil, this is the link: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152425728778315.1073741829.21308778314&type=1

I know the Feeding for the Cure thing was regarding donations to research in animal cancer, but I think the prize is simply to a pet non-profit. So if Gilbert wins I may give to a local bird or dog rescue.

Ok, for clarification, they asked which charity we would be gifting in the event we win so I chose A Helping Wing Parrot Rescue in Blairstown, NJ as the recipient. I love all the animals but I feel like the parrots are so often 'forgotten' or misunderstood with regard to rescue and HOW MANY of them end up with rehoming issues. So maybe we can help a little??? :)
