I was NOT expecting anything from UPS, so when my doorbell rang late yesterday afternoon, and I saw the UPS truck in the street, I was a tad bit dumb-founded.

But not nearly as dumb-founded/speechless/in awe/in tears and VERY VERY touched by this incredible gift that was so tenderly and lovingly wrapped.

Pictures truly don't do this painting justice!



And you better believe that we found the PERFECT spot on the wall for it right away.

I can't stop staring at it, I swear! It's QUITE huge, too. And the colors are so very vibrant!

Such a beautiful painting!!! And Wendy is right, the picture doesn't do it justice. I was fortunate enough to see it while it still hung, newly completed, on Laura's studio wall.

What an awesome gift of friendship! Breathtaking, actually. The depth of friendship that inspired such a piece must be profound, indeed.

Yes, Sebastian, this is the photo of the painting on the wall, but it's a REALLY bad photo. It's hanging in the hallway downstairs, and I can't get a good picture because of the glare.
