Just since we are all bird lovers, I thought I'd share a few cute pics.
Nothing unusual, because we have robins nesting all down my street but this particular family is in my yard (Gilbert's favorite tree actually). I noticed the mom on the nest back around Memorial Day....I have been trying not to bother them or draw attention to them but still capture some photos.

They hatched!
Fledgling on my hammock (this evening):
I think I was particularly happy because this is the same nest location as the ill-fated mourning doves last year. That made me sad that they all died--apparently something attacked.
So I have been really rooting for these baby robins this year. So happy to see this little guy out and about, with mama perched above, watching.
