It's coming up on 1 year since I went raw, so I just thought I'd share some pics a few of my favorite dishes I've made so far! It's definitely tested my skills and creativity in the kitchen lol. I know it's not for everyone (and am not suggesting it is), but the personal improvements to my own health have been significant. All these have been made 100% vegan, soy-free, grain-free, refined sugar free, chemical free and NOTHING is heated above 118 degrees F. Just fruit, veg, nuts, sprouts and seeds. Most can (and should!) be freely shared with parrots:D

Of course, I do LOTS of plain, fresh fruit, veg, smoothies and juices but making these kinds of dishes really break up the monotony.

Yup. It's spiralized. One of the coolest kitchen gadgets ever invented. You can (if preferred) cook the zucchini noodles too (do it all the time for my husband).

Well 'everyone' (avian and human) could just have the same thing for dinner:D

Your a pescetarian then (fish, dairy, eggs):) If you're going to include animal products and some flesh, pescetarianism is your best bet. Did you know hemp seeds are a very good non-animal source of omega 3's, as is hemp oil (and no, they do not contain THC or make you high)? You can blend hemp seeds into smoothies (they're a good source of protein too), and use the oil on salads or to dip bread in.

No-chicken noodle soup (daikon "broth" with zucchini noodles, carrots, celery and onions), served chilled. BEST raw soup I've tried yet!

Wow! Feel free to come over and 'cook' for me sometime. ;) I eat a vegan diet as well, but I'm nowhere near as creative with my meals. Everything looks delicious!
