Presently have six Greenwing Macaw (17 yo), Red Fronted Macaw (12 yo), Red Lored Amazon (17 y.o.), Lilac Crowned Amazon (about 43 y.o.) and a Congo African Grey (11 y.o.)
Panama Amazon (1 Y.O.)
Very destructive birds!!!

I love Kakapos! I have never seen one in person (I don't think there are any in captivity because they are so rare.) I've seen a few documentaries on them, they're quite fascinating creatures. They're the only flightless birds I know of and apparently their feathers smell like honey. They kinds remind me of Kakarikis for some reason.

Such awesome birds - fingers crossed the breeding programmes have a successful few years! Apparently they smell amazing. We're lucky our gvt. has dedicated a few small islands to their recovery.
