I'm so stoked! It's going to be my first three birds ever - my budgies Midna, Pippin, and Zelda.

Can't wait to show you all photos later :3

It's just about done!! Probably a little touch-up to go, but otherwise I am so happy to have Midna (Sky Blue), Zelda (Opaline Green) and Pippin (violet slate yellow face) my very first birds! They opened my heart to parrots <3

That's beautiful! I would so do it and get Paco on my shoulder if I had the guts (which I don't!)

Thanks so much everyone!

They are basically life size, and the piece takes up the front of my thigh. I am so happy that I got it to immortalize them. I miss them very much, they came to me at 4,5,and 6 years of age, had always lived together and were in a home from someone that really meant well and gave them lots of love an attention, but had cancer and couldn't keep up with caring for them anymore.

We had them for 3 years... I think Midna was actually a lot older than we were told because she passed away from a stroke. Shortly after, probably out of devastation with the loss of her sister, Zelda passed away from getting sick. I left my relationship shortly after and found out that Pippen passed away about 6 months after I left.

They were such good birds, so funny, so good spirited. The girls were hilarious! Midna gave the best kisses, and Zelda was a little acrobat always hanging upside down or rolling onto her back. Pippen was all around a sweet gentle boy.

I'm tearing up now. I miss them so much <3

It's really beautiful Sarah! :) Nice way to immortalize your first babies!

I just wish I could get my back removed and done over with something else I have in my mind. Removal cost alone would be several thousand I think :(
