Sometimes the most special moments spent with your birds comes from a calm quiet moment when they are perched on your hand or finger and lay their head down sideways on your hand for several minutes looking up at you.

The precious moments that are priceless when you know your bird is saying without words, "I love you".
It brings a tear to my wife's eyes when mine do that.

My White Budgie dose this, after a bout a few weeks back when my grey bit off it's toe, and poor thing bled a lot, but nursed her back to health, and is my special baby. And she shows it too.

My Senny will lay upside down in my hand with it's head sideways and just stare at me, rubbing it's beak side to side slowly then just stare.

My BFA will cuddle next to my neck and gently nibble my neck making google eyes then says "Loooovvvve you"....

My Grey will do same, but places beak up against my
nose and holds it there just starring at me with one foot up on my face. He's never bitten either me or my wife nor anyone, and steps up to just about anyone.
Quite a great bird.

My Eclectus (male) is a cuddle bunny, and will lean up
with me and a blanket. Gives kisses.

But all in all, they come out in those quiet moments and show their love.;)
