LOVED this article, Christine! Thank you!!! :)

I admit though, my jaw ended up on the floor when I saw the first picture of the Quakers going to down on a cadaver. :11:

Yeah kinda shocked myself on that one. I know BB LOVES a chicken wing. He has had a small small taste of Steak. Just as a treat.

Thanks Christine, I have a friend who regularly feeds her greys some cooked meat but Plum has no interest in any at all.

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Opportunistic feeders in the wild will no doubt enjoy whatever nature provides. Haven't notice my parrots eating creepy crawly bugs, but perhaps they get enough protein from their basic diet. We're mostly vegetarian except for fish, and I don't give them seafood.

Interesting article! Robin loves chicken (canibal lol). The others aren't interested in meat.

Dexter loves bit of protein in the form of chicken, fish or egg. I'm glad to hear that we're not total cannibals for offering him poultry. He gets very small amounts, very occasionally. I wonder if I should offer it more often.
