The water came right up to our porch...we were expecting to get water in the house. Our yard is still half underwater and we can't leave the neighborhood!

I'm sorry you're stranded! Luckily, our neighborhood didn't get it as bad as some did. How are your chickens doing?!

The backyard was half flooded but they're fine, thanks for asking! The water is down in the street now, at least in front of our house. Down the street is still really deep though.

Of course! I love chickens. My parents raise poultry (have about 50 or so chickens) and have a Rhode Island Red named Henrietta :) I'm really hoping the roads clear up soon. It's taking a major toll of my work commute and my husband and I are supposed to be moving into our new house this weekend
